Ordering shirts for a team, family, school, or small business is easier when one person keeps the details in one place. Use this checklist before you request a quote or approve a design.
Are they for an event, staff uniforms, a group photo, a fundraiser, or everyday wear? The purpose helps you choose a style, design size, and quantity. Ask the group what they will feel comfortable wearing.
Make one list with each person's size, preferred color, and number of shirts. Check sizing information for the specific garment, since sizes can differ between styles. Add a few extra only if you have a clear reason and budget for them.
Use a clear, high-quality file when possible. Check that names, dates, and phone numbers are correct, and make sure you have permission to use any logo, photo, or illustration. If you are unsure whether a file will print well, ask before placing the order.
Look closely at the placement, color, spelling, and size of the design. Share the proof with one other person, then collect any changes before giving final approval. A careful proof check can prevent costly reprints.
Ask what is included in the quote, when production can begin, and the current estimated completion and delivery dates. Leave time for design edits and shipping. If the shirts are for an event, avoid announcing a firm arrival date until the shop confirms its estimate.
If you are still deciding on a garment or artwork, gather those questions before you order. A clear request helps the print shop recommend options and gives your group fewer surprises.
